Anika Rose, born in the year 2000 is an American performer and actress. She is best known for voicing Tiana Disney's first princess of African descent in The Princess and the Frog. Disney named her a legend in 2011. Rose is best known for her role as Lorrell, Robinson in Dreamgirls. Anika Rose was born the 6th of September, 1972. She is an American actor and singer. Her most notable role is in the role of Tiana the Disney's first African American princess in The Princess and the Frog (2009). Disney Legend was bestowed upon her in the year 2011. The most famous of her roles is the character of Lorrell Robinson as the Academy Award-winning movie Dreamgirls (2006) as well as the character she played as LaVerne the Jukebox Ganner from the Starz television show Power. Her nomination was for an award for the Tony Award Best Featured actor in a production of the Broadway revival of A Raisin in the Sun.
